Kirby Hagen is Holly’s Centre Stage Dance’s newest Hip Hop Teacher. She taught our Summer Camps and all of her students loved her teaching style and choreography!! She also choreographs performance pieces in Lyrical & African. She has trained, taught and performed with a variety of local dance schools, outreach programs and dance teams throughout her dance career. She mixes Hop Hop, African and even some lyrical and modern in her classes. Her focus includes gaining skills in these styles of dance as well as gaining an awareness and respect for her students bodies. Fostering growth as individuals and developing confidence and self esteem in themselves as dancers and as a person is a very important aspect of her classes. Fun, energy, safety, positivity, support, mental, emotional and physical growth are all encompassed in her Hip Hop classes. Mis Kirby also has a Bachelor of Arts, Education from Augsburg College.
