Carisa Drews is the new HCS Dance Competition Company Director at Holly’s Centre Stage Dance.  She has been dancing since the age of 3 and instructing dance in the twin cities since 2000.  She is the director of Release Dance Company, where she volunteers her time to help her students gain confidence in their performance and educates them in choreographing their own pieces.  She also is one of the original company members of Out on a Limb Dance Company, where she has been very blessed to play many lead roles in their productions.  Carisa has studied under many nationally known instructors such as: Tony Peyla, Ray Leaper, Desiree Robins, Leslie Daly and in New York at Broadway Dance Center.  She has earned many regional and national awards as a dancer and an instructor.  These include the first overall solo award in Chicago IL, and “just for kix choreography award.”  She teaches Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe, Hip Hop, and Cardio Kickboxing.
